We originally launched a responsive website for DiLiso’s Fine Foods in 2012. A wholesale produce distribution company based in Toronto, they’d been operating successfully without a web presence, but the owner felt it was time to take a step toward growth and put his business online. Within weeks following launch, the website was competing for the top spot in local search queries for wholesale produce delivery. The phone was ringing off the hook and email was pouring in. The website had a definite, positive impact on the business.
Fast-forward to 2020 and the company had grown and amalgamated with another distribution company and had become DiLiso’s Fresh 2U Produce Inc. The website sat neglected for a while, as often happens with busy, successful small operations. Then, in the middle of the pandemic, after a few short phone conversations, we decided now might be the best time to revamp and prepare for the future. It made sense to update the branding and modernize the look and feel in preparation for the reopening of Toronto.
This project included a logo update, new domain registration and hosting, sourcing imagery, writing new copy, coming up with a new SEO strategy that included content development, blog planning, Google My Business and social media interaction, and a brand new, beautiful website. It’ll take a few months of indexing but I’m willing to bet DiLiso’s will capture and hold that #1 rank once again.
